Lawyers Alert invites applications for a virtual training program designed to equip interested individuals with the requisite knowledge and build the capacity to serve as paralegals and first responders for reproductive rights cases. This training will provide participants with the knowledge needed to address critical issues surrounding Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) in Nigeria.
This 2-day virtual training will take place from 11th to 12th March 2025.
The training is part of the Litigating Reproductive Justice in Nigeria (LIRN) Project, implemented by Lawyers Alert Nigeria in partnership with Afya na Haki (Ahaki) Uganda. The project focuses on expanding access to reproductive rights for women and girls in Nigeria through strategic litigation, legal representation, and advocacy for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR).
Who Can Apply?We are seeking individuals who:
Demonstrate a strong interest in reproductive rights and a willingness to providing first-response legal support and guidance.
Are you knowledgeable about Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) or actively involved in reproductive rights advocacy?
Are members of the Legal Support Network (LSN) (preferred but not mandatory).
