Creme De La Creme Visits Lawyers Alert

Lawyers Alert had the pleasure of receiving the Co-Executive Director of Creme De La Creme, a gender-diverse organisation working at national and regional levels to advance human rights, provide community support services, and strengthen networks across Nigeria and West Africa. The visit formed part of ongoing efforts to deepen collaboration among organisations working at

the intersection of human rights, inclusion, and community development.

The engagement provided an important opportunity to reaffirm existing partnerships and explore strategic areas for expanded collaboration. Discussions focused on shared priorities, including improving access to justice, strengthening community-based and human rights interventions, and expanding inclusive programming that responds to the realities of vulnerable and marginalized populations. Both organisations also reflected on emerging challenges affecting communities and the need for coordinated, rights-based responses.

Further discussions explored practical pathways for joint programming, knowledge exchange, and strengthened referral systems that can enhance service delivery and impact. Emphasis was placed on the importance of sustained partnership in addressing structural inequalities, promoting inclusion, and supporting community resilience across different contexts in Nigeria and West Africa.
